Sheikh Shaduli Tajuddin Abdurrahman Musliyar (QS)
Sheikh was born in Kannur district of Kerala state in India, a village called Kannadipparambu. Sheikh was born for Niduvattu Mahmood and Palankadu Mariam couples. Kambil Abdurahman Musliyar (may Allah be pleased with him) was the Shaykh of the Shaduli Tariqa. Sheikh led and held forty days long sermon, Shaduli Hadras and Dhikr Dua majlis several time. Sheikh was a scholar, Sufi, and eminent orator who embodied the essence of Tasawwuf. Sheikh was mudarris in Kambil masjid and was also known as Kambil Anthru Musliar.
Sheikh was Caliph of the Shaduli Tariqa. Sheikh received Ijaza from and was chosen to succeed by Sayyid Abdul Qadir Maulana Makki (may Allah be pleased with him) Mahi (Shaduli Iyyatul Fasiyya), Shaykh Ahmadunni Musliyar (may Allah be pleased with him) Kochannur (Shaduli Iyyatul Bakariyya) and in addition to the aforementioned sheikhs of this blessed tariqa Sheikh Shadhuli Tajuddin AbduRahman Musliyar (QS) was also very fortunate and blessed to meet Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim al-Fasi (may Allah be pleased with him) in Makkah and gave bayat. Sheikh was the caliph of Shadhuliyyathul Fassiya val baqariyya branch.
Inspite of being born and raised in a non-arabic speaking country, Sheikh was well versed in Arabic. Sheikh not only read and wrote arabic but also spoke and compose essays, mawlids so on and so forth. A student named Baqr who accompanied Sayyid Abdul Qadir Maulana Makki (may Allah be pleased with him) studied under the tutelage of this great Sheikh. Sheikh composed mawlid about Imam Shadhuli (RA), Sheikh Abdul Qadir Maulana’s (QS) father Sheikh Abdul Wadood (QS). Although it was not published during the time of Sheikh, his son and caliph or successor Sheikh Abdul Shukoor Musliyar Mankadav published mawlid about Imam Shadhuli (RA) in his book titled “ Tajullami’ ”.
In 1402 Muharram 17 Saturday (14 November 1981) Sheikh passed away from this world. The mausoleum or tomb of Sheikh is located near the Kannadiparambu Malot Shaduli Masjid. A place of interest for ziyara for everyone. May Allah SWT gather us with them together in Paradise. Amen
